Parental control Awareness sessions for parents

Oman National CERT, in cooperation with Aisha Bint Abdullah Al Rasbiya School in Muscat, has conducted a cyber security awareness lecture on “Parental Control”. The awareness session has targeted the Administrative and academic members and the Mother’s Council in school.

The awareness session covered topics like, an introduction to Oman National CERT Services, Child Online Protection Project, results of the national survey on Access to and use of Information and Communication technology (ICT) by households and individuals in the Sultanate, and finally the Parental control features and how such features could help parents manage their children access to the Internet.
