Salalah Tourism Festival

Date: 14-Jul-2012

Under the cloudy skies and refreshing drizzle, Oman National CERT continues its third week in Salalah Tourism Festival 2012. This week had some major changes in the activities and attractions to cope with the increasing number of visitors. Face painting activities were introduced to attract the kids and even teenagers and we were happy to put a smile on their faces.  Another major addition was the electronic application to celebrate the Renaissance Day where kids were given the chance to send their messages and acknowledgments to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said (May God protect him) as a token of love and appreciation on behalf of all Omani Kids for allocating the year 2012 a year for Omani Children. Moreover, OCERT still presents the most active programs like OCERT services, the painting competition for kids and CyberCon show. In addition, ITA participated at the Gulf Forum VII for Blind to show its commitment and attention to people with special needs.

Last week question was “Omani team won second place worldwide at one of the information technology competitions in 2011 in the United States” and the right answer is “Imagine Cup team”. During the week 320 participations were recorded with a rate of 77% of right answers.

The winner is: Amira Issa Al Attar
